The major highlight this week is a 100th birthday special known as The Musical Genius: A Centennial Celebration for Gene Kelly. (Airs Thurs evening 8/23 at 8pm ET 7pm CT, 6pm MT, 5pm PT with an encore at the same time Sat evening 8/25) My special guest will be Gene’s wife, film historian Patricia Ward Kelly and Tony Award winning star of stage and screen, Ben Vereen.
