Independence Day Specials (and for my Canadian listeners hope you had a lovely July 1st!)
We have some traditional patriotic fare from Norman Corwin and James Cagney (Yankee Doodle Dandy) we also have a couple lesser known Revolutionary War stories from the NBC series Inheritance.
There is also an All-American Superhero Man Of Steel Marathon featuring Bud Collyer as Superman plus I bring back some of my past interview with Michael J. Hayde the author of Flights Of Fantasy: The Unauthorized But True Story of Radio and TV’s Adventures Of Superman.
