This week we mark the 75th Anniversary of D-Day (The Allied Invasion of Normandy during WWII). On Thursday June 6th, 2019 on the channel you’ll hear breaking news clips from 75 years ago, sprinkled throughout the regular programming. And for folks seeking a much more immersive experience, RadioClassics On Demand is offering up hours of news reports from June 6th, 1944.

Also this week marks the 70th anniversary of the launch of Dragnet. We’ll present a couple different specials featuring episodes from the landmark police drama created by and starring Jack Webb.

Topping the birthday list, a couple major movie stars: Dean Martin (The Martin & Lewis Show, Dean & Jerry guesting on The Bob Hope Show) and Oscar nominee Paulette Goddard (also guesting on The Bob Hope Show as well as Command Performance and starring in The Screen Guild Player’s version of the film “Ball Of Fire”).

Additional birthday tributes for the following folks among others;
