It’s National Police Week, and while most of the in-person events have understandably been cancelled or curtailed, SiriusXM Radio Classics 148 continues our annual weeklong tribute to law enforcement by featuring episodes of Dragnet, Tales Of The Texas Rangers, Police Headquarters, Broadway Is My Beat, Calling all Cars, 21st Precinct, The Lineup and more. All of the police themed blocks are also available On Demand through the SiriusXM App.

We have birthday tributes for a number of familiar movie stars including: Katharine Hepburn (Lux Radio Theatre’s “Undercurrent”); Henry Fonda (Lux Radio Theatre’s “Mary Burns, Fugitive”, The Cavalcade Of America, Suspense); Joseph Cotten (Suspense, Academy Award Theatre); Maureen O’Sullivan (Chase & Sanborn Hour, Suspense); Margaret Sullavan (Screen Guild Theatre’s “The Shop Around The Corner”); James Mason (Suspense’s version of Agatha Christie’s “Where There’s A Will”) and June Duprez (Suspense).

Additional birthday specials for boxer Joe Louis (guest on The Jack Benny Program); TV legend Phil Silvers (in a Suspense episode); British writer Daphne du Maurier (Lux Radio Theatre’s version of “The Birds”) and author Leslie Charteris (four episodes of The Saint).

We mark the following series debut anniversaries: True Detective Mysteries (91st); Information Please (82nd) and The Whistler (78th).
