Hard to fathom, but we are indeed wrapping up September and heading into October, hope are all staying healthy and staying safe.

A head’s up: this year’s annual Halloween Week debuts on Monday October 26th and continues through Halloween Weekend.

On To The This Week’s Highlights:

We bring back the End Of The Golden Age Of Radio special as we’ll play the Suspense and Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar episodes which played on the evening of September 30th, 1962.

We’ll present a two-hour block of The Abbott and Costello Show to celebrate the birthday of straight man, Bud Abbott.

We also celebrate the birthdays of Groucho Marx (You Bet Your Life); Damon Runyon; Barton Yarborough (Dragnet, Escape); Everett Sloane (Inner Sanctum Mysteries); Deborah Kerr (Suspense’s “Lady Pamela”); Lamont Johnson (Tarzan, Crime Classics, The Whistler); vocalist Kenny Baker (The Jack Benny Program, Fred Allen Show); Virginia Bruce (Suspense); Doris Singleton (The Whistler); Ted de Corsia (Pursuit, Escape, The Whistler); Arnold Stang (Alan Young Show, Milton Berle Show); and Ed Sullivan (Guest on The Jack Benny Program);
